IPod touch firmware update, only 1% of users
June 27, 2009 – 8:48 pmIn the middle of the month Apple has released a firmware iPhone OS 3.0, designed for iPhone and iPod touch. According to Apple, the software downloaded 6 million times. However, it is estimated marketing company AdMob, firmware absolutely no interest to the owners of iPod touch.
Only 1% of the player installed iPhone OS 3.0. In AdMob as the main reason for this view is that the update had to pay $9.99, while owners of iPhone 3G set it free. In addition, iPhone OS 3.0 mainly improves the functionality of the phone, not the player (Find My Phone, Voice Control).
