John Carmack talks about his plans for the future

Following reports that ZeniMax (Bethesda) bought id Software John Carmack (John Carmack) no other choice but to shed light on the sale itself, and the studio plans for the future.

According to the developer, the company will add a third team to develop. At the same time, developers of Quake Live will go on multiplayer Rage and Doom 4 to quickly learn new technology. To date, id employs 105 people. About a year the company will recruit new talent.

Carmack noted that the financing of Rage were mostly of the id, not the publisher.
