Valve believes Russian pirate customers

Jason Holtmen (Jason Holtman) from Valve told , that his company is looking at computer pirates downloaded games from Torrente, as customers are not receiving proper care.

He cited the example of the Russian market, where there is a huge mass of players who want immediate access to any new project. But no one wants to wait for publishers to produce the official version and, therefore, go to the Internet. That’s why Valve is trying to produce their games in the region simultaneously with the West.

Holtmen did not believe that users want it to steal a game, they just might not be able to buy it at the right time in the right place. The main catch in time to deliver the product – and customers will be.
