So far unknown what the requirements put forward the European Union, if Microsoft is indeed found guilty of monopolizing the market for Internet browsers because of the introduction of Internet Explorer in Windows. However, an informal network is already running some rumors. say , that the American company will be forced (with the exception of a fine) to sell their systems, complete with multiple browsers from other manufacturers (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.).

Thus, users will be able to make a conscious choice in favor of a software product. Windows should automatically invite the user to choose multiple browsers, which proposed to set up and make a program default. This could occur during the first boot. Perhaps this feature will monitor themselves OEM-manufacturers like Dell and HP. It is assumed that the set of browsers you can even specify the ordering of the OS.

Technically, such a plan is easy to implement. A much more difficult to solve the problem with the choice of programs. The European Union is unlikely to be able to establish itself, what kind of browser is best to use. The Commission may enter into its own trap.
